1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the S.A.L.T. application operated by Royal Dalmatia d.o.o., you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the platform.

2. Description of Service

S.A.L.T. is an online platform that connects maritime professionals—skippers, sailors, hostesses, chefs and students—with fleet operators and boat owners along the Adriatic coast. The platform allows users to create and manage crew profiles, verify maritime licences, set availability calendars, search and communicate. Users register as Crew or Agency, and each account type carries different features and responsibilities.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the platform you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information during registration and to keep this information up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

Users may create an account as Crew (maritime professionals) or Agency (fleet operators and boat owners); each account type has different functionalities and obligations.

4. Crew Member Obligations

Crew members agree to provide truthful information about their qualifications, experience and maritime licences. All uploaded licence documents must be authentic and valid. Misrepresenting qualifications or providing fraudulent documents will result in immediate account termination.

5. Agency Obligations

Fleet operators and boat owners agree to use crew information obtained through the platform solely for legitimate hiring purposes. They may not redistribute, sell or share crew data with third parties without the explicit consent of the crew member. Agencies are responsible for independently verifying crew qualifications.

6. Licence Verification

Royal Dalmatia carries out an administrative review of uploaded maritime licences (e.g., B category, C 100 BT, Yacht Master 500, STCW). This verification is performed on a best-effort basis and does not constitute official certification or guarantee. Agencies should conduct their own due diligence.

7. Pricing and Payments

Crew and agency accounts are available under paid subscription plans, as described on the Pricing page. Prices are listed in EUR and may be subject to applicable taxes. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.

8. Limitation of Liability

Royal Dalmatia acts solely as a platform connecting crew and agencies and is not a party to any employment or service agreement between users. Royal Dalmatia is not liable for the conduct, qualifications or reliability of any user. The platform and services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, provide false information or engage in any activity that harms the platform or its users. Users may delete their accounts at any time through their account settings.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved by the competent courts in Split.

11. Changes to Terms

Royal Dalmatia d.o.o. may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continuing to use the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
